Zack Arias

Zack Arias is an American street photographer who is someone who I believe is one of the best street photographers who I have seen and someone who I aspire to take photos like.

Arias shows with photographs such as this, that he is a truly brilliant photographer. Here you see a woman who carrying a lot of Hello Kitty merchandise whilst talking to two NYPD officers. This image I find fascinating mainly because she isn't someone you would expect the police to be talking to. What also interests me is the wide range of colours in the image mainly from the woman.

This image shows a young boy sat down in a street playing a violin whilst people walk past, this image interests me mainly because no-one is paying attention to him playing but he is paying attention to Zack when he is taking the photograph. This is something that I have never seen before in street photography. It is also interesting as it is something that does go on in the street.

Arias is someone who I look at a think that their photography is truly brilliant and it is without a doubt someone who I would love to take photos like. This is a specific style that I will without a doubt use when taking my photos for this project.
